The Subaru Ascent has five trim levels with many features for your convenience and enjoyment. Below is a deeper look at each trim level and their standard applications that make them stand out against each other.
For a midsized SUV, the Subaru Ascent has a turbocharged engine that makes driving through Maryville smoother and gives more of a burst of power. The four-cylinder engine pairs with a continuously variable transmission to create 260 horsepower for more oomph as you drive over hills and around corners.
This base trim level has enough standard features that you are not stuck with a shell of an SUV that only has A/C and cloth seating. Getting your friends and all of their shopping bags or your new appliances in the vehicle is better with the larger wide-opening back passenger doors. The vehicle can handle any of your items with plenty of space for cargo, including compartments under the chairs and removable or folding seats. The roof rails on top of the vehicle let you store or haul larger items without taking up any room from your passengers. Or you can always tow your items with a 2,000-pound towing capacity.
A new standard 11.6-inch touchscreen features wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, allowing you to avoid using a USB cable when enjoying your music and apps.
The next level on the Subaru Ascent is the Premium. This trim level takes the features from the base level and adds even more.
If you want to break up the seating configurations and have a walkway to get to the third row, you can take out the middle row and add captain's chairs to accommodate six passengers. If you like towing your boat to Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, the Premium's towing abilities get stronger at 5,000 pounds.
The 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot lets you stream music or shows while watching your kids at soccer practice. You can get the available navigation system on the touchscreen to set even more destinations during your trips.
The newest trim level for the 2023 Subaru Ascent adds features that enhance the exterior looks. This new trim level has glossy looks with the black grille and trims around the windows and wheels. Even the wheels get the dark treatment with the black finish on the 20-inch alloy wheels. The StarTex® water-repellent upholstery makes off-roading or swimming trips better when you do not have to worry about mud or water ruining your interior.
The Subaru Ascent Limited builds on the features of the previous trim levels by adding more amenities and luxuries to your travels.
The leather-trimmed seats add a better aesthetic to the interior and make cleaning up after your messy little ones much easier. While it is nice that the Premium trim leather has heated front seats, you cannot leave out your passengers in the back. This trim level has heated seats for everyone in the vehicle. The Power Rear Gate opens with the touch of a button on the gate to give you better access to the area behind the third row and can be height-adjusted based on the height of your garage or other cover.
The Touring trim is the highest level that combines all of the features from the Subaru Ascent Limited trim level and adds a few more. This trim only allows seven-passenger seating. So, you will not get the choice of creating that walkway in the middle. Look up at the stars during night drives with the panoramic power moonroof.
The optional navigation system on the Subaru Ascent Premium is now standard, which allows you to find a gas station if you run out of gas while on a road trip somewhere you do not know. The touchscreen also pairs with the upgraded 14-speaker Harman Kardon system that will turn every drive into a nightclub.
